I know this is cliche but I can’t believe March is over already, like where did it go. In this wrap up I’m going to reflect over what I read, watched and listened to in March.Read More
I always love seeing these kinds of posts and videos. It’s always interesting to see what people think they’ll like and then finding out how they actually felt about it. So today lets look at some of my five star predictions.Read More
I know that autumn has already started, but there’s still a lot of autumn left so it’s not too late. I’m not very good at sticking to a monthly reading schedule so I thought that today I’d tell you the books I’m most interested in reading in the next couple of months.Read More
I started uni last month. This involved moving away from home to live on campus. I knew that I couldn't bring my entire book collection (as much as I wanted to) as there’ s simply not enough space in my room. So I had to be selective of which books were coming with me and which ones had to stay home till semester recess. It was super hard cause I love all my books and wanted to have them all with me, but space would not allow it.
The first book that I brought with me was The Complete Works of Jane Austen because I really want to read more of her works, I have previously read Emma and Pride and Prejudice, I really enjoyed both of them, plus it's like five or six books for one. I don’t know when I’ll get to them though.
The next book I brought with me was Will Grayson, Will Grayson because that is the March pick for the Green-a-thon and seeing as I won't be going home till April met that I needed to bring it with me.
At the time I left for uni I was reading The Gilded Wolves so I brought it with me, because there was no way I was leaving it behind.
The next three books I brought with me are The Hidden Oracle, The Dark Prophecy and The Burning Maze. I read the first one when it was released, read it and enjoyed it but just never continued on with the series and promptly forgot what happened. I just finished my reread of The Hidden Oracle, so I'll be reading the others soon.
The final two books I brought with me were Strange the Dreamer and Muse of Nightmares. I really enjoyed Strange the Dreamer when it came out and brought Muse of Nightmares asap, but I haven’t had the chance to read it yet. I’m currently re-reading Strange the Dreamer before I read Muse of Nightmares because it felt like a long time since I read it.
I was selective when picking what to bring with me, being aware of both space and the fact that I would buy more books once I was here (spoiler I have), so I focused on the books that I was most excited to read. Hopefully I'll get to all of them soon.
Do you have trouble with selecting books when you have to go somewhere? And have you ever had to?
I love Mia as a character, she's just so stabby and causes so much blood loss. Also I love how much of a book worm she is. I’d love to think that we’d be friends if she was real, but she’d probably just kill me instead.Read More
Fangirl for me has just become a book that I can disappear into when I need to laugh and even though it’s not always about happy things I know that I will feel better when I finish it.
I absolutely love this book, five out of five stars.Read More
